Hello, I am 24 years old and my husband and I are trying to conceive.   I was diagnosed with endometriosis after a lap on Dec 15, 2007. I have been on two separate treatment cycles of Lupron Depo. The first cycle was in 2011 for 11 months (monthly injection). I was then put on Aygestin. My menstrual cycles were semi normal for about 4 months while on BC. Can I Use Non-Human Derived IVF Medications?

Question: Dear Dr. Ramirez, I am considering IVF and am more keen on using the non human derived IVF medications. I would be very grateful for  your opinion on Gonal F when compared to Menopur . Also, would you please let me know about the suitability of Ovidrel for IVF. Is it comparable to human chorionic gonadotropin derived from urine such as Pregnyl. Have you had success with it?
