Dr. Ramirez has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy obtained simultaneously from the University of California at Irvine. A graduate of the Stanford University School of Medicine, he did his specialty training in OB/GYN at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. He received sub-specialty training in advanced reproductive technologies at the world-renowned Pacific Fertility Center with Dr. Geoffrey Sher, one of the first pioneers of IVF in the United States.
Dr. Ramirez is fluent in Spanish and Japanese. He is trained in advanced gynecologic surgical techniques and in the most up-to-date advanced reproductive technology.
The goal of Dr. Ramirez and his staff is to provide patients with the finest scientific, state-of-the-art fertility and gynecology care, along with nurturing intimacy, personalization, and compassion. Located in the beautiful and picturesque Monterey County, one hour south of San Jose, it is the only full-service IVF center on the California coast between San Jose and Santa Barbara. While they offer a smaller setting that provides one-on-one care, they also have the facilities, excellence, and success to rival large volume practices. The office boasts an IVF laboratory and a new Access Ambulatory Surgery Center, where they have some of the most sophisticated equipment available.
